Reflexology Gift Vouchers

Reflexology Gift Vouchers

One of my favourite gifts last year was receiving a gift voucher to have the treatment of reflexology. It's fabulous to be given a voucher to spend on yourself and be able to have an hour in the company of a skilled and gifted practitioner who does reflexology. It can be a really luxurious and greatly beneficial gift. Many people live extremely rushed and pressurised lives and yet may have never experienced the delights of reflexology. Others may thoroughly enjoy receiving reflexology treatment and will be grateful for the opportunity of having another treatment that is paid for as a gift.

There are a number of different forms of reflexology, ranging from a very firm and intense pressure through to an extremely light and gentle touch. Luckily anyone who is choosing to give someone a present of a gift voucher is likely to know the personal preferences of their friend or relative.  Friends know if someone likes heavy and intense pressure whilst others are looking for a more light and soothingly beneficial treatment. In many countries it is now easier to have access to the Internet where you can choose the perfect present for the person and also choose location for your gift. There are gift vouchers that are provided by numerous practitioners and often they provide additional useful information alongside the voucher.

If you're looking to buy voucher, it's worth going onto the Internet and searching for anyone who already provides gift vouchers in the location of the person you are buying for or contacting a local practitioner to ask them if they can provide you with a gift voucher on this occasion. Some practitioners will offer vouchers for the full price of the treatment, whilst others will offer you opportunities to buy a half treatment or a prepaid amount towards treatment.

Some practitioners will send a beautiful card with the gift voucher for you to gift wrap as a present for your friend or relative, whilst others will provide an e-mail confirmation of the amount that has been paid and what it can be used towards. Some practitioners are able to tailor the gift voucher according to your needs. If you're looking to buy something in particular, it's always worth picking up the phone when contacting the practitioner concerned to see what they can provide for you.

As a reflexology practitioner working in my clinic in Loughborough (East Midlands, UK) I know from my own experience that sometimes you can get requests from people who live a long way away or even in a different country. A gift voucher is the perfect present to give to someone who you love and it is easy to parcel or send to a loved one. I have had clients who come to see me as a result of receiving a gift voucher for:-

  • Birthdays
  • Christmas
  • Mother's/Fathers Day
  • Get well soon
  • Weddings
  • Retirement
  • Special occasion

A few people have come to my clinic to receive a Gentle Touch Reflexology (www.g-t-r.org) treatment as a result of having a gift voucher from someone who has tried Gentle Touch Reflexology and would like to offer the opportunity for a friend or colleague to receive the same. Gentle Touch Reflexology is an extremely light and soothing form of reflexology and in some cases different from some of the treatments that people have received in the past. Some treatments can be done using quite a firm pressure whereas Gentle Touch Reflexology is as the name implies, very light. Recently one of my clients, who works in a bank, had received the benefits of a Gentle Touch Reflexology treatment and found it to be incredibly beneficial. During her treatment she realised that someone that she worked with might also benefit from the same treatment and so she went away with a gift voucher for her colleague. In this way two people had the benefit of treatment, thanks to the gift of a gift voucher (please excuse the pun!).
