Everyone wants a happy life, however, it is not always plain sailing. Using reflexology to support a baby or a child gives an opportunity to increase the good times whilst promoting healthy growth and development of every child. It increases bonding between a parent/caregiver and child plus adds an extra dimension for any reflexologist in practice. All this whilst providing individual care, respect and support for every child irrespective of their circumstance or challenges. Using reflexology is an age-old practice that has such wonderful modern-day applications.

Reflexology has gained a well-deserved reputation and has increased in popularity as a natural method for promoting relaxation and well-being. While reflexology is commonly associated with adults, its benefits also extend to the youngest members of our society. Baby reflexology offers a unique and rewarding experience for both reflexologists and infants alike. Both hugely benefit and I have witnessed some remarkable results over my years in practice and teaching. The use of reflexology is useful as it is profound in supporting children physically, emotionally and with their energy levels. It is ideal for children who are well and in need of support in simply growing up in a fast-paced and hectic world whilst also incredible in supporting others with serious challenges.

There are incredible advantages to integrating baby reflexology into any reflexologist’s practice, as well as the positive impact it can have on babies and children. It can help them in times when extra comfort or soothing may help or when calm and relaxation are required to help with health and development.

It is always important to remember that emotional stability and calm are priceless and so much sought after by a tired parent/carer. What price can we put on a good night’s sleep? We all know how much better we feel after a proper good night’s sleep.
